The conference was a major international platform which the experts from education industry attended to contribute their own views, insights, experiences and opinions. It was a matter of great pleasure and honour to be a part of the Global Education & Skill Summit 2011. The conference was organized at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi on 30th September, 2011. World Education Summit, as clearly indicated by its name, is the foremost event in the field of education, globally. The summit was joint venture, organized by Indira Gandhi National Open University, Centre for Science, Development and Media Studies and Elets Technomedia Pvt. Ltd., on 13-15 July 2011 at The Ashok Hotel, New Delhi, India. Issues like Skill Development, Vocational Education and all the aspects of School Education and Higher Education were the prime factors of discussion at the summit. Stakeholders in the field of education, from across the entire globe got a chance to recognize opportunities for themselves and realise their potential at all – international, national, regional and local – levels. The day long National Women Entrepreneur conference was supported by MSME, Government of India where successful entrepreneurs like Mrs. Meenal Arora, Ms. Shahnaz Hussain shared their success story with the participants.
